Alignment and layout
The paper size is set to the cheque size you choose, so the printer asks for paper of exactly that size rather than A4. Print onto a plain sheet first and hold it against a real cheque. If everything sits the same distance out, nudge the whole layout with the offsets. If one field alone is wrong, move that field. Save the result and it will be remembered on this computer.

Nothing here is sent to us. The payee, amount and your saved layouts stay in this browser, which is how it should be for cheque details.
How it works
Type the details, then feed a real cheque into your printer and press print. Only the text is printed — the outline you see on screen is a guide and never reaches the paper.
Print onto a plain sheet first and hold it up against a cheque before using real stationery. Printers feed paper slightly differently, and it is cheaper to find that out on ordinary paper.
If everything is out by the same distance, shift the whole layout using the offsets under Alignment. If one field alone is wrong, move that field. Save the result under the bank's name and it will be remembered on this computer.
The amount in words is written out the way a bank expects, including the closing "Only", and the figures are wrapped in asterisks so the number cannot be extended after signing.
Nothing you type is sent to us. Payee names and amounts stay in your browser, which is the only sensible arrangement for cheque details.
